Biography

Former Huddersfield Giants captain Chris Thorman is now one of Head Coach, Rick Stone's, assistant coaches.

Thorman has been at the club as a coach since 2012 after retiring as a player and used to be the Giants Under 19's Head Coach.

The former versatile back enjoyed an impressive playing career, which included two spells with the Giants and captained the Claret and Gold in the 2006 Challenge Cup final against St Helens. Thorman has also played in the NRL for the Parramatta Eels.

Geordie boy Thorman is also a Guinness world record holder for the fastest rugby league hat-trick during his first spell with Huddersfield and  he scored over 1000 points during his Super League career.
