Ryan Hinchcliffe joined the Giants on a three-year deal in June 2015 after a glittering career in the NRL.
The 32-year-old began his career at the Canberra Raiders, spending one season there before moving onto Melbourne Storm, where he went onto make 177 appearances over the course of seven years.
The experienced hooker has played in two winning Grand Finals in 2009 and 2012 and two World Club Challenges in 2010 and 2013, during his trophy laden years with the Australian club.
During his career at Storm, Hinchcliffe became a crucial part of Head Coach Craig Bellamy’s squad winning the Player of the Year award in 2010 and finishing runner-up the following year.
In his first season in England, Hinchcliffe was named Claret and Gold captain, the experienced Aussie chipped in with two tries and only missed one game during his first season in Super League.
