Huddersfield Giants star David Faiumu has thrown his weight behind the Giants fantastic gesture of handing FREE Cadbury’s Crème Eggs to the first 500 junior supporters to come to the Giants clash with Widnes today, kick off 3pm.

As always Under 12’s get into the game for FREE, and the first 500 kids will receive a free Crème Egg from the Giants and although it is April Fools Day it is no ‘yolk’!

New Zealand International David Faiumu thinks the gesture is an opportunity that should not be missed.

He said: “With it being Easter, I think it is a great idea to hand crème eggs to the kids.

“I have kids myself and I know how much they love chocolate. They will come to the game and I can guarantee they will be rushing to grab their free egg!

“With Under 12’s gaining FREE entry to every game as well as getting a free egg on Monday, it is a fantastic way to spend your Easter Monday cheering us on against Widnes.”

Faiumu insists the Giants fans support really does make a difference to the players’ performance on the pitch.

“It is so important as many supporters can get down to the John Smith’s Stadium to support us because we really are thankful for your support.

“I don’t think Huddersfield realise just how much their support influences our performances during the game and ultimately the outcome of matches.

“Huddersfield supporters have been a massive boost for us during this early part of the season and the reason why we have been able to lead the competition.

“I urge you all to come down to the Stadium on Monday and we can hopefully carry on the good start. Don’t forget to bring your kids so they can get their free egg too!”

The high-flying Giants take on Widnes Vikings at the John Smith’s Stadium later today at 3pm, and it promises to be an Easter ‘egg-citing’ match up!
