Fat Lad at the Back provide special cycle wear designed by O'Neills for Giants representatives

Foster Care

It's less than 24 hours until Giants representatives Eorl Crabtree, Andy Kelly, Steve Hardisty and others start thier 120 mile ride to the Dacia Magic Weekend to raise money for Headway, the charity that works to improve life after brain injuries.

Headway provided specialist support to Ronan Costello’s family during the period following his injury and subsequent passing in June 2016, having sustained a serious head injury in an U19’s match.

By donating money to Headway on the designated JustGiving page you will be entered for a chance to win one of three signed Giants rugby league balls in the raffle prize draw.

Giants ambassador Eorl Crabtree will be part of the pack riding to Tyneside on the two days ahead of the Dacia Magic Weekend, with the ride scheduled for 19-20th May.

Having teamed up with premium cyclewear producers Fat Lad At The Back, Crabtree was delighted with the cyclewear designed by O'Neills and produced by Fat Lad at the Back and thanked everyone for their support:

“Me, Andy Kelly and Steve Hardisty are feeling well prepared for the ride tomorrow, it's going to be a long and tough ride but i feel we've prepared really well for it. The cycle gear we've got to wear was specially designed by O'Neils to be in the same style as our Magic Weekend kit and Fat Lad at the Back have done an excellent job producing it. We're all extremely grateful for their support in helping to make this bike ride possible for such a good cause. I'd just like to thank everyone for their donations, we're all hugely grateful and happy that together we have been able to make a difference. There's still time for anyone to donate, regardless of how small it is, every pound is so important and your continued support is really appreciated."

Support the fundraising campaign, and donate in memory of Ronan Costello to the charity Headway, byvisiting or texting 70070 with code RLFC50 followed by £**, entering value you wish to donate.
