All of the key stats that you need to know ahead of our Continental Clash with Catalans Dragons on Friday evening.

The Catalans Dragons travel to Huddersfield on Friday currently occupying the final playoff spot. The gap between the two sides is currently four points but a win for us on Friday evening will see us close the gap to the playoff places, to just two points.

Wiliame could be key

Brayden Wiliame has featured in 18 of the Dragons 21 Betfred Super League this season, one of those being against the Giants, where the centre scored twice.
He has made 1956 metres so far in 2019, with an average gain of 8.39 metres for Les Dracs. He has also made 19 clean breaks this season too, as well as making 62 tackle busts. He has seven tries this season too, as well as six assists for his teammates.

Dragons rarely made an error

In their last game, a 44-10 home win against Wakefield Trinity, the Dragons kept their errors low. If they are to play at their best on Friday night, they will be hoping for something similar then.

Number of errors made v Wakefield Trinity (06.07.19)

Tony Gigot – 2
Matt Whitley – 2
Arthur Romano – 2
Benjamin Garcia – 1
Remi Casty – 1

Leeming rises to the occasion

After his try and star performance where he won man of the match, against the Salford Red Devils last week Kruise Leeming will be eager to build on the performance.

Leeming has appeared in 20 of our 21 Betfred Super League games so far this campaign. He has crossed the line to score himself six times, as well as providing eleven assists for his team-mates.

He has also added 143 runs from dummy half and, as well as that, shares the workload in defence too, making 587 tackles in 2019. He has also added 115 marker tackles on top of that too.

Big defensive effort needed

Giants defended well at Salford last week. With the Dragons having one of the biggest packs in the competition, we will need to be at our best defensively to restrict them to as few points as possible.
