VAN BELLEN FUNERAL DETAILS CONFIRMED

The funeral for ex-Huddersfield player Ian Van Bellen will take place on August 21st

The Funeral for Ian Van Bellen, the ex-Huddersfield player who died last week, will take place on August 21st at 1:15pm at the Crematorium, Fixby. 

Van Bellen started his successful playing career at the Claret and Gold, playing for Huddersfield between the late 1960s and early 1970s before spells with Castleford, Bradford Northern, Fulham, Halifax, Kent Invicta and Keighley.

The club remembered Van Bellen with a period of applause in their game against Leeds Rhinos, and wore black armbands for the fixture.
