Huddersfield Giants are sad to announce the passing of our former player, Leo Booth.

Leo signed for the "Fartowners" from Flockton ARLFC in 1960 and made his debut in August of that year at Whitehaven.

He had the distinction of playing in the 1962 Challenge Cup Final and a week later he received a Winners Medal as Huddersfield defeated Wakefield 14-5 in the Championship Final.

Leo played a total of 148 games, scoring 25 tries.

A loyal clubman, he played his last game against Castleford in September 1969. Leo was proud to receive his Heritage Certificate, No 680.
