SWIFT SIGNS EXTENSION

Prolific winger Adam Swift has committed his future to the Huddersfield Giants, signing a one-year contract extension, taking him into the fourth year at the club.

Swift, who joined the club from Hull FC back in 2024, has gone on to be a hugely popular figure on the field and within the dressing room, scoring 34 tries in 39 games including hat-tricks vs Hull FC and Castleford Tigers.

He now moves into his fourth season with the club and will look to continue his impressive try scoring form which has made him one of the best wingers in the league, with powerful back-field carries, and eye-catching finishes in the corner.

Giants fans need no introduction on Swift, and how the team is a much better proposition when he is in the side, we look forward to watching our number 2 in 2027 at the newly refurbished Flair Stadium, as we enter One Giant Future.

Director of Rugby, Andy Kelly is pleased that the club are backing Swift and giving him a further year to show what he can do.

"Even with the injuries he's had, his strike rate is phenomenal. He's still one of the best wing players in the Betfred Super League. The period of time he's missing at the moment, and of course with a full pre season, will set Swifty up to be more consistently on the field. I believe the investment both the club are putting in him, and the investment he's putting in to himself, will set him up for a brilliant 2027."

Adam Swift commented on the deal and outlines his targets for 2027.

"I'm absolutely buzzing to seal another year. The last couple of years hasn't gone well injury wise at the Giants but there's things in place now where I can get on top of the injuries. Another 12 months under Jim. He's a great coach and a fantastic leader and I'm excited to be back with the boys next year."

"Scoring tries is what I get paid to do, it's something I want to do more often than I have the last two years so I'm excited for 2027 already."
