GIANTS SECURE ARTHUR

Huddersfield Giants are delighted to announce the signing of Jake Arthur on a two-year deal, as he joins One Giant Future.
The former Hull FC half-back becomes the first player as we look to restructure our playmaking department, and Arthur is a statement signing within that area.
Only 23 years of age and with over 100 appearances within the professional game, Jake is coming into his best years and we're excited to see what he can do in the Claret and Gold.
Andy Kelly, Director of Rugby at the Giants believes the capture of Jake's signature will be a fantastic addition to the ethos that the club are building.
"This is a very exciting signing in my opinion! I feel that the way Jim Lenihan is setting us up to play, Jake fits that mould. He's a controlling half and a fantastic addition. He's ready to make a statement and we'll give him the platform and the stage to do just that."
Jake is pleased to have the deal done, and believes faces in the squad he knows already will allow for a smooth transition.
"I've spoke with Jim and I love what he's building there. I can take the next step with my footy at the Giants. I've seen the videos of the new training base online and it's exciting what is being built, that's only going to get the best reults and best performances from everyone. I've played with Zane Dunford and Chris Patolo at Manly, so I'm good mates with them already. It'll be nice to have them there to make it a really easy transition for me."
"I can't wait to get over there and bring my best effort. That's one thing I'll do every week, is bring my best effort. I'll be working as hard as I can to get results for the Giants!"
