AOAKE JOINS ONE GIANT FUTURE

Huddersfield Giants are delighted to announce the signing of promising back Logan Aoake on a two-year deal from Newcastle Knights.

As we look to strengthen our backline, Jim Lenihan has made another exciting addition to the squad for 2027 with the signing of Logan, who comes highly regarded and is excited about the opportunity to play in Super League for the Giants.

Crossing for 16 tries in 37 appearances in the NSW Cup, Logan is only 21 and has his best years ahead of him and will look to develop here under the coaching of Jim Lenihan, Leroy Cudjoe and Liam Finn.

Director of Rugby Andy Kelly discussed what led them to sign Aoake.

"Logan is an outside back comfortable on the wing or in the centre, which is crucial for the rebuilding of our backline after the departures of Milne and Gagai, at the age of 21 we see him as a player who is ready to flourish under the coaching here at the club.

His opportunities at Newcastle have been limited due to the first team there having two of the league's best in Young and Marzhew, but we feel he is ready to make the step up here."
