GASKELL SWEEPS GIANTS AWARDS

Lee Gaskell won four awards, while Brian Blacker was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award

It was a good night for Lee Gaskell at the Giants Awards Evening on Monday Night, as the half took home the Supporters Player of the Year, Players Player of the Year, The Wagstaff Trophy and Giants on Tour Player of the Year. 

Ukuma Ta'ai won the Coaches Player of the Year and was also nominated for the Wagstaff Trophy, while Jack Flynn was awarded Academy Player of the Year on his farewell from the club. 

Next up is the Outstanding Achievement Award, given by the Board of Directors to an outstanding individual within the club.

It was also a night in which our Commercial Manager, Brian Blacker was honoured with the Outstanding Achievement Award and Trevor and Sheila Kaye, having given a lifetimes service to Huddersfield Rugby League through their work with the Supporters Association and the Academy, were given Life Membership to the club in a highly emotive moment at the John Smiths Stadium.
