Giants to create festival atmosphere

Huddersfield Giants are asking supporters their help to make our 2022 Home Opener against Hull Kingston Rovers a day to remember by utilising their Bring a Buddy Gift Vouchers to bring as many people as possible to the Stadium and urging supporters to create a festival atmosphere in and around the John Smith's Stadium in the lead-up to kick-off. 

The John Smith's Stadium will be a hive of activity prior to kick-off with a Food Festival, Bars, fun for Kids provided by the Huddersfield Giants Community Trust and not one, but two musical acts performing prior to kick-off. It'll be a spectacle not to be missed and a party worth waiting the long off season for! Supporters are urged to get down early, bring as many of their friends as possible and help make our first home game of the 2022 Betfred Super League Season a day out to remember. 

The centrepiece of the Giants offering to home and away supporters will be the Deliveree Food Festival, opening from midday on gameday featuring six food outlets and two bars for supporters to sample a number of Huddersfield's local vendors in a party atmosphere for a vibrant tailgate feel. Former Giants Academy player and X Factor star Jordan Higo will be performing around the stadium, alongside DJ from the Hart, who'll be spinning all your favourite tracks from inside the Food Festival. 

Huddersfield Giants Community Trust will be running a Community Zone outside the Stadium featuring inflatable goals, activities for children and face-painting from the Huddersfield Giants Cheerleading Pro Squad. Big G will also be around the perimeter of the Stadium to provide our younger supporters with an opportunity to get photos with our famous mascot. 

Giants supporters wishing to get gameday ready will be able to purchase a range of merchandise at the Giants Gameday Store, located in a prime location in front of the Core Stand. 

We're hoping to create the biggest atmosphere for a number of years at the John Smith's Stadium so we're urging fans to bring friends, family, acquaintances, workmates, housemates and anyone else they can to the game to make the day a festival of Rugby League.

All supporters planning on using their Christmas gift vouchers are asked to exchange them at the Ticket Office prior to gameday where possible to assist with the logistical planning and distribution of numbers ahead of the game and are reminded to provide the name and details of the recipient. The ticket office is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 9.00 pm to 4.00 pm.
