The big PNG utility player is probably more well known for his time on the West side of Hull with FC’s rivals Hull Kingston Rovers. An impressive record of 94 tries in 111 appearances during his 4 years at the club. Gene moved across the city where his time wasn’t as successful. The Giants faithful will remember Gene for his somersaulting tries over the 4 seasons in West Yorkshire. He’s been rewarded in recent years by finding himself in what some would describe as the Ultimate Super League XIII.
