Ken Davy is to return as Huddersfield Giants Chairman, while Leroy Cudjoe scooped five awards at the end of season dinner.

Ken Davy gave a passionate speech at the Huddersfield Giants annual awards dinner (sponsored by the FM Company) last night outlining his determination to take the forward to a successful future.

Davy announced that after a gap of four during which he spent a couple of years as Executive Chairman of Super League he is returning as Chairman with Keith Hellawell taking on the role of Club President.

"I stood down to take the role at Super League which has now ceased and in the interim Keith has done a great job. He will continue on the board as President and is undertaking some of the behind the important scenes reorganization which is going to be essential for our future success.

"As we have seen from various clubs financial results recently, including the Games two most consistently successful clubs, Wigan and St Helen's the games finances are not where any of us would wish them to be and that will be top of my agenda to try to improve.
