EORL RECOGNISED FOR GIANT COMMITMENT

In his final day at the Giants after 25 years of service, Eorl Crabtree was recognised by the club at the 2025 Sponsors Lunch, sponsored by Holden Smith.

Eorl, who joined the club in May 1999 and went on to make 424 appearances, scoring 79 tries during his playing career that spanned fifteen years, then taking up the role of club ambassador and working within the commercial department at the club.

A hugely likeable figure and one that was well thought of in the club, Eorl has taken up a role at Betfred League 1 side Midlands Hurricanes as Managing Director and we wish Eorl all the best in his future career, he will always be a huge part of the Giants family and we are sure he will visit games throughout the coming seasons.

Eorl discussed on stage at the sponsors lunch how difficult it was a decision to leave the Giants.

"It was a difficult decision to move on after twenty five years, this club is like home to me and it's all I've ever known, ive enjoyed some great years at the Giants both playing and working here and I've made friends for life.

"I'll always be a Giant, and I'll still be here supporting when I can on match days as this place is my home, I'm moving on to work at Midlands Hurricanes but I couldn't have done it without the Giants."
