Huddersfield Giants to Host Second Annual Iftar, Celebrating Diversity and Community Unity

The Huddersfield Giants are delighted to proudly announce the return of their annual Iftar event on March 26th. This gathering continues a tradition that not only made Super League history last year but also reinforced the club's commitment to embracing diverse communities and fostering a genuine sense of belonging.

Richard Thewlis, Managing Director of the Giants, highlighted the club's ethos: "Our annual Iftar reflects the core principles that permeate every aspect of our operations at the Giants. The recognition we received at the Speaker’s House in Parliament is a testament to the impact of our community initiatives. With the support of our community ,we are excited to keep building on this foundation, enhancing our efforts to welcome and unite."

The event promises an enriching evening where attendees can engage in thoughtful discussions through a guest panel on unity and inclusivity and enjoy exclusive tours of the club’s facilities. These tours demonstrate the club's openness and its role as a gateway for community interaction and connection.

Dr. Ikram Butt, former Giants player and Executive Director of the British Asian Rugby Association, commented: "Last year's Iftar set a high standard for how we engage with our community.
