Food Appeal - HGSA

The HGSA have once again teamed up with The Welcome Centre, A Huddersfield based charity and food bank, helping people in crisis.

We previously hosted food bank donation points at Giants home games but then Covid came into our lives and the baton had never been picked back up- until now!

Starting with the visit of Hull KR to the John Smith’s Stadium on Sunday March 30th, we are encouraging every fan coming to the game to make a small donation of tinned and non perishable foodstuffs, if they can (no pun intended!) to the Welcome Centre, via the donation points at the Legends Bar and by the HGSA tent in the Fanzone in front of the main (Riverside) stand at the stadium.

Volunteers from HGSA and the Welcome Centre will be on hand to give advice and information and we encourage everyone to visit the Welcome Centre’s website for more details on how and what to donate, you can find them here https://www.thewelcomecentre.org/pages/donatefood
