GIANTS WOMEN SIGN FRAIN

Huddersfield Giants Women are delighted to announce the signing of former Rhino Elle Frain.
The back-row star has featured over 50 times for the Rhinos, including Grand Final and Challenge Cup appearances, showing the experience she brings to what will be revitalised Giants Women's team, under the coaching of Nathan Graham.
Elle joins the Giants and becomes the second new signing for 2026, as they look to break into the top four for the first time in the Betfred Women's Super League in its current format.
Elle commented on the move to Huddersfield.
"I’m really excited to join the Giants. I’m looking forward to a new challenge and hope that I can add value and a bit of experience to the squad.
"Huddersfield is a great club and they’ve got a strong development programme for the young ones that are coming through. It showed in the young girls that stepped up last year and the great results the girls had in their academy games.
"Huddersfield are knocking on the door to push into the top four and I do think they will get there next season and I want to be a part of that.
"I’d like to wish everyone at Leeds the very best for the future. I’m extremely grateful for the past 8 seasons I had there, the great memories, and for my teammates."
Head of Women's Rugby James Westerby also discussed the signing.
It’s great to have Ellé on board. Ellé is a player we have admired for a number of years now with her strong work ethic and positive attitude. She has experience of grand finals and challenge cup finals which should support our current squad in their development. We’re trying to create a good strong culture going forward and Ellé will definitely enhance that.
