GIANTS SPREAD CHRISTMAS CHEER AT HOSPITAL

Huddersfield Giants visited Calderdale and Huddersfield Hospital to hand out gifts and visit the staff and patients.

As a yearly tradition, a number of Giants players made a morning visit to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, with a group also visiting Calderdale Royal Infirmary in Halifax, handing out a selection of gifts to the patients.

The club would like to thank Huddersfield Giants community trust who fundraised for the gifts, which included chocolate selection boxes, biscuit sets and other items.

Both visits were well received with staff and patients posing for pictures and sharing memories of Rugby League in Huddersfield, the players in Huddersfield visited numerous wards and then the A&E Department, with the other set visiting the children's ward at Calderdale in Halifax.

We would like to thank both hospitals for their warm hospitality and allowing us to continue this great tradition of allowing us into the hospitals to visit.
