GIANTS ADD FORMER RHINO TO WOMENS RANKS

Huddersfield Giants Women's are delighted to announce the signing of back-row Mayzi Carter from Leeds Rhinos.

The (DiSE) programme graduate and England Students back-row star joins the Giants from Leeds Rhinos, where she will look to make an impression on the Giants team as we look to break into the top four, under new leadership and a fresh cohort of young players joining from the League best Under 19's side.

The young talent will look to follow the likes of Mollie Iceton, Amelia Brown and numerous other young players who have joined the first team set up and thrived in the environment.

Mayzi discussed signing for Huddersfield.

"Huddersfield is a fantastic club with an impressive pathway for developing young talent. That was clear last season when several young players stepped up and delivered outstanding performances in academy fixtures.

"I’m thrilled to be joining the Giants and eager to embrace this new challenge. I believe I can contribute value to the team."

Nathan Graham, Head Coach of the Giants women commented on the signing of Mayzi.

"We are delighted to get Mayzi on board at the Giants. She brings a lot of energy in her work and is really athletic with some good skill too. She will be a great addition to the squad and I'm really looking forward to working with her this year."
