Giants Unleashed - A new era for the Huddersfield Giants.

What is Giants Unleashed ….

The journey of Giants Unleashed began over a lunch in July, 2025 and since then has continued to gathered pace.

The work began with a step back and an analysis of the club, its current and projected future landscape and also options available. Phase 1 was not a particularly sympathetic piece of work but was objective and necessary; we adopted the mantra “You can’t heal what you won’t face”. It was a brave step for the club to take and concluded by the laying out of a series of future directional choices.

The Board and all within the club then whole-heartedly embraced this journey and from that, an unshakable commitment to rebuild has developed! Everyone understands the size of the task and what needs to be done and it is that undeniable passion for success that is inspirational and unstoppable.

This club has really challenged itself : Giants Unleashed is the result and is a complete change of mindset. We are rapidly transforming internally in three ways: Strategically (Vision, Mission and Business Plans), Culturally (Values and identity) and through increased Connectivity (Engaging more effectively internally and externally with old and new).

Quite naturally within this process we are modernising, re-structuring and seeking to make best use of what is available to continuously improve how we project the Giants and the offer we make to our partners and audiences

The work behind the scenes has been relentless, and internally, we then worked on a title for this campaign that would truly represent this change in direction and the launch of a new era.

We will bring will bring Giants Unleashed to life and to you over coming months and it will manifest itself in many ways. You will see and share in our successes…..

Will this all happen overnight? No

Will we still get things wrong on occasion? Yes

Will we still lose games? Unfortunately, Yes

Will we be criticised along the way? Yes, absolutely, but let’s be brave and confident

Are we ambitious? Yes, very much so.

Do we now have clear objectives and direction? Yes

Are we entering an exciting new chapter? Yes
