Huddersfield Giants Community Trust is a non-profit organisation delivering sports and education-based initiatives into the community. The aims are to inspire, create opportunities, promote being active and as a whole build a stronger community where everyone belongs. The Zone is the community hub of the Trust, just off St Andrews Road, Huddersfield, is a huge part of the community engagement.
The generosity of fundraising allows the charity to continue serving meaningful and objective programmes into the local and surrounding areas of Kirklees.
Giants Managing Director Richard Thewlis paid tribute to all at the Huddersfield Giants Community Trust.
“There is some magnificent work done by all at the trust under the inspired leadership of Lisa Darwin. Sometimes we are guilty of not highlighting the enormous social impact that we have as a brand and the video below does tell a great story of the many multifaced arms that the Trust have to engage with the local community. They continue to grow and expand their reach and I d urge any company to look at them and the work they do which is truly transformational for many.”
