A Record-Breaking Magic WKND

Magic WKND 2026 is officially the fastest selling in the event’s 20 year history.

Rugby League’s biggest summer festival heads to Everton’s world-class Hill Dickinson Stadium for the first time this season – and fans are clearly excited by the prospect.

Nearly 50,000 tickets have already been sold since going on sale last month, making it the most rapid take-up yet for the showpiece occasion that first arrived in Cardiff in 2007.

All 12 of the Super League’s UK-based clubs will face-off at the new home of Everton FC on the weekend of Saturday July 4 and Sunday July 5.

RL Commercial today revealed the stadium’s Lower Bowl has SOLD OUT across Sunday and Full Weekend Passes.

The Trinity Bar and Village Street are also sold out across Saturday, Sunday, and Full Weekend Passes, plus hospitality sales reaching over 60% capacity in the first month.

With very limited Lower Bowl availability for Saturday Passes, the impressive venue is quickly becoming a hit with rugby league fans.

The Hill Dickinson Stadium was a sell-out in the autumn when England faced Australia in the ABK Rugby League Ashes, becoming the first non-football event to take place at the ground.

Now supporters are flocking back for the Super League bonanza which sees the competition’s biggest rivalries and derby clashes match-up over one epic weekend.

RL Commercial’s Director of Marketing and Communications Joe Steel said: “There’s a clear excitement about taking one of the biggest dates in the rugby league calendar to Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium - and it’s brilliant to see supporters responding in this way.

“We’re hoping it will be the biggest and best Magic WKND yet with all the ingredients there to make for an absorbing and enthralling two days of action.

“There’s a full festival experience waiting for fans to enjoy - on and off the pitch.

“Plenty of supporters who witnessed the Ashes Test match at Everton in November were amazed by the world-class venue. And Super League is looking forward to being the next to take the stage.”

With unreserved seating, a pass-out system to enjoy the Plaza fan zone, entertainment, live music, in-bowl fan games and competitions, Magic offers something for everyone.

Among the 47,000 plus tickets already sold, fans from all 37 professional clubs are already represented.

Supporters have until midnight on Thursday March 26 to purchase their ticket at early-bird prices (20% discount).
