IZZY SWALLOW JOINS GIANTS WOMEN

Huddersfield Giants are delighted to announce the signing of Izzy Swallow from York Valkyrie!

The speedy winger joins the club as we look to continue our progression and push into the top four of the Betfred Women's Super League in 2026, she joins up with pre-season well underway.

Izzy discusses below the progression she made at York and how that will prepare her for the Challenge ahead at the Giants.

Izzy discussed the opportunity to join the Huddersfield Giants.

I am excited to join Huddersfield Giants Women and begin this new chapter in Women’s Super league. I am grateful for the opportunities I had at York Valkyrie, which played a key role in my progression as a player. I’m now looking forward to embracing the challenge ahead, working hard within the group, and representing this club with pride as they push for a top 4 position.

Izzy is a great addition to our squad and brings a lot of energy to the group. She has a real turn of pace and is very enthusiastic around training. She will bring quality competition for the wing positions and also she will be looking to do her grandparents proud, who are Giants supporters!
