GIANTS IN SUPPORT OF 100 MILES IN APRIL

Huddersfield Giants have thrown their support behind the 100 miles in April for Pancreatic Cancer, after Harry Rushton's father, a survivor himself will be taking on the challenge.

Harry Rushton, the Huddersfield Giants' 13 and Ireland International's father was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in 2025 and has now decided to take part in the 100 Miles In April challenge, raising money for Pancreatic Cancer action, you can read his story by clicking here.

The Huddersfield Giants squad have thrown their support behind the cause, with Andy also pushing for better awareness and earlier diagnosis.

We spoke with Harry to discuss what this challenge means to him and his family.

"Its close to my families heart as my dad was diagnosed with it last year, it was an early diagnosis so he was lucky enough to beat it, the fundraiser is a good opportunity for people to raise awareness and let people know what the symptoms are, so it can be diagnosed early.

"It was a whirlwind six months for us, he was in hospital for a long time and it affected us quite a lot, but he was lucky enough to beat it, the challenge that he's doing is 100 miles in april which is inclusive for everyone, and this is why it was chosen as everyone can get involved.

This April, we’re asking you to join hundreds of others in taking on the 100 Miles in April Challenge for Pancreatic Cancer Action.
