Last week, Roy Beaumont struck gold as he landed a handsome £1000 prize pot as well as winning Director's Box tickets for Friday's West Yorkshire Derby against Bradford Bulls. 

Roy has been attending games since the 1950's, when he saw his future friend, the great Dave Valentine, lift the Challenge Cup with Huddersfield before fulfilling an excellent Fartown and Rugby League career. 

Roy said: "It was absolutely fantastic to receive the call breaking the news that I had won, I was over the moon. I've followed the Giants for as long as I can remember and have always done whatever I can to support the club, including the lottery. You never think you are actually going to win it, so to find out you have is incredible. I'm not sure what I'm going to spend the money on, but I did thoroughly enjoy the hospitality on Friday. Even better, I got to meet a few of the players!"
